ALMA BioFil Compact
Our biofiltration enables the biodegradation of carbon and nitrogen compounds as an effective pre-treatment for water circuits. This pre-treatment significantly reduces operating costs when the water is further used as process water. The system includes carbon elimination, nitrification and denitrification.
Biofiltration for the treatment of water circuits or permeates
Hydraulic output: 10 - 50 m³/h
As pre-treatment for reverse osmosis systems (water recycling) or for process water treatment of cooling circuits and heating networks

ALMA BHU BAF
Compared to conventional activated sludge systems, our biologically active filtration (BAF) requires only < 50 % of the space and can be equipped with denitrification if required.
Cleaning efficiency of max. 95 % with regard to organic compounds and max. 90 % with regard to nitrogen compounds
Hydraulic output: 100 - 1,000 m³/h
Can be used for both biodegradable wastewater and surface water
ALMA BHU BIO
High-performance biology with denitrification and nitrification for large wastewater flows. Optionally with sludge separation using clarifiers or membrane systems.
Low sludge production of only 0.2 kg per kg of degraded COD
Hydraulic output: 20 - 500 m³/h
BOD reduction of max. 99 %
ALMA BIO BBI
Open bioreactor with integrated sedimenter for effective biomass separation. Aeration via fine-bubble membrane aeration modules.
Integrated COD measurement, control via flow and oxygen measurement
Hydraulic capacity: 20 - 1,000 m³/d
Suitable for all biodegradable wastewater
ALMA BIO SBR Rural
The microbiological decomposition process enables the efficient decomposition of carbon and nitrogen compounds through intermittent aeration, supported by high-performance blowers. The plant is designed as a lagoon system, which makes it particularly suitable for remote areas.
Activated biology in the SBR process (sequencing batch reactor) in lagoon design
Volume of the lagoons: 500 - 5,000 m³
Microbubble aeration with high-performance blower. Kit for installation in lagoons
ALMA BIO MBR
The ALMA Bio MBR system combines an aeration tank with fine-bubble membrane aeration and a membrane filter box operated in bypass.
Effective solids retention, can therefore also be used as pre-cleaning for reverse osmosis systems
Hydraulic capacity: 20 - 1,000 m³/d
Integrated COD measurement, control via flow and oxygen measurement
ALMA BIO Compact MBBR
Compact, biological wastewater treatment plant installed in the ALMA module. If required, the process can be supplemented with denitrification and nitrification or phosphate precipitation.
The process can be expanded cost-effectively through integration in the ALMA module
Hydraulic capacity: 10 - 100 m³/d
COD reduction of 10 - 120 kg/d at 90 % degradation rate
