News from industrial water technology

Legionella in evaporative cooling systems poses a serious health risk. Reliable prevention requires more than just regular laboratory testing: the key lies in the combination of water treatment, operational management, monitoring, and maintenance. The ÖNORM B 5020:2024 standard provides important guidance in this regard. With AQUA CHECK, ALMAWATECH helps operators identify hygiene risks early on, determine appropriate measures, and sustainably improve the operational safety of their cooling systems.

ALMAWATECH continues its positive business performance and is kicking off the second half of the year with numerous domestic and international projects.

Our 2026 field trip began with a visit by the ALMAWATECH team to KSB in Frankenthal, where we gained fascinating insights into manufacturing and pump technology. We then traveled to Groß-Umstadt for a group covered wagon ride through the vineyards, during which we learned about viticulture and winemaking. It was a varied day filled with technology, team spirit, and many good conversations.

As of August 1, 2026, Maurice Korb has joined our team as a technical product designer trainee. We look forward to supporting him on his journey and working together to shape the future of water and wastewater technology.
