Since July 2025, we have welcomed Elisabeth, a business administration student at the University of Mannheim, for a two-month internship in the commercial department at ALMAWATECH. With her interest in industrial value creation and the economic side of technical processes, she will be an active addition to our team this summer.

In her 4th semester, Elisabeth is using the lecture-free period to gain practical insights into a medium-sized environmental technology company - with a particular focus on the commercial issues surrounding our two central business areas:

  • Plant engineering for industrial water and wastewater treatment
  • Production and distribution of technical process additives ALMA AQUA

What makes a commercial internship at ALMAWATECH special?

As a technically oriented company, it is important to us to combine economic thinking with engineering implementation. As part of her internship, Elisabeth is working on a variety of business management tasks, including

  • Economic efficiency comparisons of different system variants and process combinations
  • Collaboration in the pricing of our process additives and preparation of comparative analyses
  • Evaluation of purchasing data, raw material price trends and logistics key figures
  • Support in accounting and controlling, e.g. for monthly financial statements and forecasts

By working closely with our management, accounting and technical sales, Elisabeth not only learns the basics of internal company processes, but also the challenges of international project business in the field of industrial water technology.

Practical experience with meaning

"I deliberately wanted to do my internship at a company that combines technological solutions with social relevance - ALMAWATECH offers me the perfect combination of environmental technology and entrepreneurial thinking," says Elisabeth.

We are delighted to welcome Elisabeth to our team and are convinced that her insight into our processes will be a valuable building block on her future career path.
