Automation as an Important Component of Our Plant Engineering
In the Software & Automation division, ALMAWATECH develops solutions for the control, monitoring, and optimization of our water and wastewater treatment plants. These solutions include, among other things, the automation of pumps, valves, dosing systems, and measurement points; the processing of relevant process data; and the visualization and operation of the plants via modern control and monitoring systems.
Another key focus is on the intelligent integration of measurement and control technology. Process parameters such as pH, conductivity, flow rate, pressure, level, and other water chemistry parameters can be continuously monitored and used for the automatic control of the respective treatment processes.
Digital Solutions for Operations and Service
In addition to traditional plant automation, the digitalization of plant operations is also becoming increasingly important. That is why we are continuously refining our digital solutions for operations, service, and plant monitoring.
The goal is to enable our customers to operate their systems as transparently and reliably as possible. Operational data can be collected, analyzed, and used to optimize processes. At the same time, digital solutions open up new possibilities for remote monitoring, service support, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
In this way, we are increasingly combining our process engineering expertise with modern software and automation technology.
Automation for Water, Wastewater, and Cooling Water Treatment
The scope of work encompasses a variety of applications within our service portfolio—ranging from industrial wastewater and process water treatment plants to membrane and recirculating water systems, as well as solutions for cooling water treatment using our ALMA AQUA process additives.
Automation tailored to specific needs also plays an important role in cooling water systems. Measurement values and operating parameters can be continuously monitored and used, for example, to automatically control dosing and treatment systems. This further improves operational reliability, water quality, and resource efficiency.
