Task

Construction of a municipal wastewater treatment plant with precipitation, flocculation and sedimentation (BHU reactor LHPS), biological treatment with nitrification and denitrification (ALMA BHU BAF) and ozonization (ALMA BHU OXI), including commissioning.

Solution & implementation

In the first process step, dissolved substances are converted into undissolved substances by neutralization precipitation in our ALMA BHU LHPS and separated using high-performance lamella separators. The remaining biological compounds are degraded by microorganisms in the ALMA BHU BAF process. The ALMA BHU BAF process is operated in 2 stages and includes nitrification and denitrification.

In the final process step, trace substances and persistent substances are oxidized and rendered harmless by means of ozone(ALMA BHU OXI).
