Task

Treatment of river water from the Wisla for the production of process water.

Design data

Waste water volume:

  • 3 x 1,400 m³/h

Target parameters:

  • Suitable for process water

Solution & implementation

We use the innovative ALMA BHU LHPS process to efficiently remove dissolved phosphorus and nitrogen compounds as well as undissolved particulate matter from river water. This approach enables highly effective purification of the water.

Our ALMA BHU LHPS process uses three precipitation and flocculation reactors operated in parallel, followed by high-performance settlers and sludge thickeners. The high-performance settlers are characterized in particular by specially developed honeycomb-shaped lamellas, which offer an above-average specific surface area. This ensures a small footprint while at the same time achieving optimum sludge separation.
