On November 14, 2024, we had the great opportunity to present our research projects at the Transferexchange of HESSENMETALL. Together with our representatives, Laura Loreth and Maksim Milosevic, we presented innovative solutions and developments that are helping to shape the future of industrial water and wastewater treatment.
The Transferexchange provided an ideal platform to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology between industry and colleges/universities in Hesse. The open and cooperative environment facilitated exciting discussions and exchanges about current challenges and innovative approaches in water technology.

Focus on our research projects
We presented some of our pioneering research projects at the event:
1 ALMA More Clean Water
- Development of a modular process concept for the recovery of process water from wastewater containing heavy metals.
Modular CP system ALMA CHEM MCW for the removal of heavy metals, AOX, hydrocarbons, chromium and cyanides
2. ALMA NeoDAF
- Energy and resource-saving operation of dissolved air flotation thanks to our patented ALMA Bubble Booster System.
ALMA NeoDAF flotation system with patented ALMA Bubble Booster System
3. removal of PFAS from wastewater
- Realization of a multi-stage membrane plant in stainless steel construction for the removal of PFAS. This pilot plant was installed compactly in a technical room container.
ALMA OSMO reverse osmosis installed in the ALMA MODUL technical room container to remove PFAS
4. load-proportional dosing of operating resources
- More efficient and precise dosing of precipitants and flocculants thanks to a new hardware configuration and our in-house software solution.
A successful event with inspiring insights
The Transferexchange was a complete success for us. It not only allowed us to present our technologies, but also to gain inspiring insights into other exciting research projects from different industries and universities. The intensive discussions and new contacts that we were able to make are particularly noteworthy - an important basis for future collaborations.
Special thanks to Hessenmetall and the entire organization team for the invitation and support. We greatly appreciate this platform and look forward to developing new innovative solutions for industrial water and wastewater treatment together with partners from science and industry.
We would also like to thank Benjamin Schenk for the wonderful photos that perfectly capture the atmosphere of the event.
Together into the future
We are convinced that collaborations like this make a decisive contribution to the further development of technologies and the promotion of sustainable solutions. Together, we are shaping the future of water and wastewater treatment.
