Key takeaways from the report:
- CO₂ savings for our customers: Thanks to our technologies such as biogas plants, reverse osmosis for water recycling (WaterReUse) and biofiltration plants, our customers have already been able to save up to 200 - 400 tons of CO₂ per year over the lifetime of the plants. This makes a significant difference, not only for the environment, but also for operating costs.
- Energy from wastewater: Our anaerobic biogas production plants generate up to 2 million kWh of energy per year. This energy is used for self-supply as well as being fed into the power circuit, which reduces dependence on external energy sources.
- Internal improvements: We also focus on sustainability within our company. By using heat pumps and switching to green electricity at our headquarters in Babenhausen, we have been able to significantly reduce our energy consumption.
- Resource efficiency: Our modular system technologies not only save space, but also materials and resources. Precise planning and the modular design of our systems significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and raw material consumption compared to conventional systems.
