Solution & implementation
Our comprehensive process for cleaning and treating cleaning wastewater in color pigment production consists of several key steps:
1. homogenization tank: To begin with, the cleaning wastewater is fed into a tank where it is thoroughly homogenized to ensure a uniform consistency.
2. precipitation reactor with wastewater chemicals: In the next step, the wastewater is treated in the precipitation reactor using precipitants. This step aims to precipitate dissolved wastewater constituents. In addition, the pH value is adjusted to a neutral range by adding neutralizing agents.
3. addition of flocculants and sedimentation: In the next process step, flocculants are added. The previously precipitated particulate substances combine to form larger sludge flocs. These are separated from the treated wastewater in the sedimentation reactor(ALMA CHEM MCW).
4. chamber filter press for dewatering: The resulting sludge and the separated impurities are dewatered in a chamber filter press, which significantly reduces disposal costs.
5. gravel filter for final purification: Finally, the treated wastewater is pumped through a gravel filter(ALMA FIL) to remove the last insoluble pollutants from the wastewater.
