ALMA CHEM MCW Modular

Our ALMA CHEM MCW Modular is a chemical-physical system that converts dissolved wastewater constituents into undissolved substances by means of a precipitation reaction (neutralization precipitation). These undissolved substances are then coagulated with flocculants and separated.

If required, the process can be supplemented with an oxidation stage, two-stage sulphide precipitation or reverse osmosis for water recycling. Thanks to its modular container design, the system is particularly suitable for remote geographical areas due to its easy transportability and quick dismantling.

Modular CP system for flexible locations and growing needs

The ALMA CHEM MCW Modular combines chemical-physical wastewater treatment with a transportable container design. Reaction stages, dosing technology, sludge treatment, filtration, and automation are combined on a project-specific basis to create a turnkey plant solution. This makes the system particularly suitable for sites with limited space, challenging infrastructure, or future expansion requirements.

When is a modular CP system a good choice?

  • Limited Space at the Production Site The treatment technology is arranged compactly within defined modules and does not require a large, separate plant building.
  • Remote or hard-to-reach locations The pre-assembled modules can be transported and installed on site with minimal assembly effort.
  • Short Production and Installation Times A large portion of the manufacturing, piping, cabling, and functional testing can be completed prior to delivery.
  • Future Expansion of Treatment Capacity Additional process stages or modules can be added in the event of changes in wastewater volumes and discharge requirements .

Plant engineering, piping, measurement technology, and automation are largely pre-assembled and technically inspected before delivery.

The modules are delivered to the site, positioned, and connected to the utility supply, wastewater inlet, and outlet.

Dosage, pH control, reaction times, and sludge treatment are adjusted to the actual wastewater and optimized during operation.

Depending on the composition of the wastewater, the ALMA CHEM MCW Modular can be supplemented with, among other things, oxidation, multistage or sulfide-based precipitation, filtration, ion exchange, or reverse osmosis for further treatment and water reuse.
