Task
The production site in Eisenach manufactures sensors and transmission controls that make driving more efficient, safer, and more comfortable. In the heart of Thuringia, around 1,800 employees and more than 160 trainees are responsible for the planning, production, and quality of the products in various fields of activity. An open recooling circuit is used to cool the production facilities.

Solution
ALMAWATECH developed a coordinated operating resource concept based on a multifunctional protection strategy consisting of:
- Corrosion protection for mixed metal materials
- Biocide management against microbiological growth
The corrosion protection for the operating equipment is dosed fully automatically depending on the make-up water volume, and the biocide dosing is time-controlled for the corresponding cooling circuits, ensuring stable operation with minimal use of chemicals. In addition, quarterly water analysis and system checks are carried out by ALMAWATECH Service.
